5 Brutal Truths About Life That Nobody Tells You

I had no idea that the video I posted last week would get hundreds of thousands of views. This professor changed thousands of lives with his important lesson about stress relief and stress management. 

But there was another thing I did not see coming:

After I posted that video of the professor with the glass of water, thousands of people commented with one simple question: 

“How do I put the glass down?”

And honestly, that question really got me thinking.  Because for so many people, that “glass” (the stress) isn’t something they can just set down, walk away from, or let go of. For many, it’s their family, a job, debt, and important responsibilities. 

And for some, it’s simply the pressure to keep everything together when you’re already stretched thin.

At first, I thought I had an answer. 

"Ah, yeah, here's how to manage stress. Here's what I do when I'm stressed."

But the more I read the comments, the more I realized, there’s no simple one-size-fits-all solution. Because stress is complicated. And life doesn’t always give you the option to just let go of our stress.

So I decided to do some research and find proven and effective stress management tools.  Proven stress relief.  Effective ways to deal with stress that people have been using for hundreds of years to reduce stress, manage anxiety, and find overall peace, despite stressful circumstances.
